A Golf Training Aid Will Help Lower
Scores
Golf training aids could be
the answer to improving your game whether you are a beginning
or seasoned golfer. You can usually find one that relates to
the part of your game that needs polishing. It doesn’t matter
if it’s driving, putting, chipping or improving your swing,
there is a reasonably priced training aid waiting to help you
out. While it is true that most golf
training aids are purchased using the internet, you can still
find or order them from a golf pro shop near you. There are
some really good bargains to be found on online auction sites
for used training devices in excellent condition. These sellers
may have corrected their flaw with the device, and are now
passing it on at a great price.
One problem that may need
some work is the function of the left elbow during the swing.
Professional golfers will keep their lead arm fully extended
through the swing, and with a device called the Elbow Tac-Tic,
you can too. This device is comparable to an elbow brace as it
is hinged at the elbow while at the same time
it fits over the lower and upper arm. You will hear a clicking
sound when your elbow breaks down during a swing. The elbow
tac-tic is so form fitting that you can use while
it practicing or while actually playing a round of golf.
The affect it has over time will cause you to be more aware of
the positioning of your arms during the swing. Afterwards,
you’ll swing naturally with your lead arm. You could then sell
the device or keep it in case your swing starts breaking down
at the elbow again.
Modern technology has
provided us with numerous devices to improve upon the short
game. One of the new golf training aids to do this is the
variable shaft weight wedge. It has the technology to mimic the
arc in which you are trying to hit the ball due to the
adjustable shaft to head weight ratio. It really helps in
getting out of a bunker or out of the rough. It comes in 52,
56, and 60 degree angles. You'll find yourself hitting
beautiful, high shots with very noticeable accuracy. This wedge
will help you hit the ball better, play more confidently, and
lower your scores all at the same time. You're chipping game
will improve so much that you might think you're ready for the
PGA tour. The variable weight ratio can be tested and your
skills honed out on the driving range. Here, you'll find out
just how far and how accurately you can hit the ball with this
club. If possible, test drive all of the different angles to
see which one, or ones, is right for you. Different angles have
a noticeable affect on the arc and distance of the ball
path.
These are just a couple of
golf training aids available. The variable weight wedge can be
purchased for around one hundred dollars. Your pro shop may
carry it, or you could simply do a search online to compare
prices. The elbow tac-tic can usually be found in the
forty dollar range. Just start with whatever weakness you have
in your game and find a specific golf training aid specifically
for that weakness. Once you improve upon that weakness, your
scores will stop to drop.
